Teaser Tuesday (1)

This is a meme run by Should Be Reading. Here is what you do:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My teaser:

Rachel Hore: The Memory Garden

Page 208:

“She turned. And yet here he was. Patrick.”

OK I was sneaky and did three sentences, but they are short! Please leave a comment letting me know what you think and where I can find your teaser!

  1. Haha! Yeah, the sentences are really short. And oooh who’s Patrick? “Her” special someone?

The Memory Garden also reminds me of The Secret Garden!

  2. welcome to the teaser tuesday meme!

great pick. short, but thought-provoking. i wonder who patrick is! 🙂

  3. I love the title of your read. Nice teaser, too :}. I just finished a really intriguing thriller called, “Rogues, Riches and Retribution,” by Harry Taylor, which I found to be very unique and couldn’t put it down. Here’s a couple of sentences for you to enjoy from this very exciting read:

“The sound of her screams brought people running out from the shop at the far end of the street and as they shouted and started running towards them the guys threw the girl to the ground before jumping in their car to speed away into the night. Virenti and his twin brother Luigi heard about the incident a few days later when Virenti noticed the bruise on his sister’s face.”
