It is the beginning of the week, I hope you had a great one last week! Did you have a good reading week? I had a surprisingly good one. For starters, I got loads of e-books and audiobooks. Check out my In My Mailbox!

Books Read:

  • Terry Pratchett: Going Postal
  • Arthur Conan Doyle: The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
  • Lewis Carroll: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland
  • Nick Hornby: About a Boy
  • Allison van Diepen: The Oracle of Dating

Reviews:

I have decided to enter the Book Blogger Appreciation Week. My entry post is here.

Hoping to Read:

This week I need to work on my dissertation – that involves reading and writing. The novel I need to read is:

Regency Buck by Georgette Heyer

I’m still reading Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers, which I am really enjoying; and I’m listening to The Angel Experiment by James Patterson. Other books I’d like to read this week are:

  • The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
  • Wildthorn by Jane Eagland
  • Along For the Ride by Sarah Dessen

This is ambitious as I have a lot of work to do but we’ll see how I do! What are your reading plans for the week? Leave a comment if you’ve dropped by!

  1. I’m glad you enjoyed The Oracle of Dating. I have that one up on netgalley, but haven’t read it yet. I hope you enjoy The Perks of a Wallflower, Wildthorn (another netgalley) and Along for the Ride, books I want to get to reading as well. Have a nice week reading!

Check out my post, and enter my international contest!

  2. I love the variety of books you read. I had The Oracle of Dating on my computer from NetGalley but didn’t read it because I have decided that I don’t like reading on the computer. I love Georgette Heyer but don’t recall who the main characters are in Regency Buck. My Monday Report is here. Happy reading!

  3. I am reading Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. So far, it’s okay. I like the beginning the best though. Switching from out demon and angel to the THEM and different characters full time is really jarring.

  4. What a great reading week! Hopefully you’ll have time to get to several of the books on your TBR list.

  5. Oh, the lovely Johnny Depp! 🙂

Now, where was I…? I hope you enjoy reading About A Boy as much as I enjoyed the film. 🙂

  6. Looks like you had a great week. I loved The Oracle of Dating. I also have Wildthorn and Along for the Ride in my tbr pile. Though I haven’t seen that cover for Along for the Ride before.

    Have a great week!

  7. These look good. I love Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, and I really liked the movie adaptation of About a Boy. Enjoy!

  8. I love the Heyer. She is one of those authors I want to read but never do. Have a lovely week.

    Grace

P.S. Johnny Depp picture is of the amazing variety.
