In My Mailbox!

This is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren. I haven’t had much arrive into my home this week, just three books from the library:

  • The Bridesmaid’s Pact by Julia Williams
  • Dear John by Nicholas Sparks – I had taken this out a few weeks ago but didn’t have time to read it so took it back – I didn’t want to stop others from reading it; but now I have time I have taken it out again
  • The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaimon

Not many, but I am pleased with my choices :-) What did you get? Do leave me a comment!

It’s Monday! #9

This weekly meme is hosted by Sheila at Bookjourney. I haven’t managed a lot this week, as expected. I read Sarah Dessen’ s That Summer because it needs to go back to the library. I’m up to 8000-ish words of my dissertation, out of 20,000. I’m hoping to have doubled that by next Monday, so reading and blogging might be little again.

Books Read:

Dissertation reading:

  • James S. Gray: Brighton Between the Wars

Fun reading:

  • Sarah Dessen: That Summer

Reviews:

Currently Reading:

These are the same as last week, with two extra! Hmm…!

  • Whitethorn Woods by Maeve Binchy
  • The Iron King by Julie Kagawa
  • Therapy by Sebastian Fitzek
  • Bel Canto by Ann Patchett
  • Goodnight, Beautiful by Dorothy Koomson

This Week:

Until the beginning of September I will be working on my dissertation so my aim this week is to finish any of the books I am currently reading :-)
