Recommended Series

Published by Katie

I have read several good book series this year. Here are a list of the ones I recommend:

Charlaine Harris: The Harper Connelly Series

Harper Connelly has a unique gift – she sees the last moments of someone’s life before they died, which means she can find dead bodies. This series sees her going about her work, and the dangers she finds herself in.

C. S. Lewis: The Chronicals of Narnia

Based on Jesus and what the Bible teaches, this is a children’s series where Aslan the lion transports children to Narnia to help find missing people and fight evil. There are seven books in this series that adults will enjoy as well as children.

Debbie Macomber: The Blossom Street Series

So far there are four books in this series, which are based around the shops and their owners on Blossom Street, Seattle. This is female fiction which involves friendship, love and happiness.

Stephenie Meyer: The Twilight Series

This is young adult fiction that follows Bella, a human as she falls in love with Edward, a vampire. All four books are great reads, even for adults. Exciting, interesting books, well worth reading.

Sophie Kinsella: The Shopaholic Series

This is pure female fiction. Meet Becky Bloomwood, the girl who is addicted to shopping. This series follows her through her adult life, from work to marriage and children, and the things she has to face, including shopping! If you like chick-literature, this is for you.

Terry Pratchett: The Discworld Series

I am halfway through this series, which is pure fantasy. With a range of characters and places in the Discworld Pratchett takes us on a whole host of amazing adventures that are exciting and very humorous. These are very readable and enjoyable.
